Guntur district Talent awards for students, Guru awards for Trachers


GUNTUR: The Ramineni Foundation, USA, announced to present talent awards to 133 students belonging to government Schools who stood toppers in the SSC exams in Guntur district.

Guntur Zilla Parishad chairperson Sk. Johny Moon, during a press meet at Guntur on Wednesday, said that the Ramineni Foundation was continuing promotion of education by presenting talent awards to students and teachers.

Ms. Johny Moon said besides students, the foundation would present Guru awards to 156 headmasters belonging to the government schools in Guntur district. Foundation chairman R. Dharma Pracharak said that their foundation was promoting education in the Zilla Parishad, municipal and government schools of Guntur district for the past few years, He said that 22 students who were SSC toppers in the district and 113 in mandal level will get talent awards. He said that 92 headmasters Who Worked for good results in SSC exams and another 54 headmasters Who Worked for the betterment of education in state Schools Will get Guru awards. The programme Would be conducted on October 14 in Siddhartha Gardensat Guntur.

Mr Pracharak said that Supreme Court Judge N.V. Ramana, deputy Chief Minister N. China Rajappa, minister for agriculture P. Pulla Rao, minister for backjward class Welfare K. Ravindra, minister for human resources development G. Srini Vasa Rao and others would present the awards. Former Z.P chairman P. Nagabhushanam, RJD school education P. Parvathi and others participated in the press meet.
